The SSA Fund

The SSA Fund is a crucial part of the resources that allow the School of Social Service Administration to remain a premier institution for research, education, and service. Annual giving is the backbone of charitable support to our program and vital to our success. You can give to The SSA Fund online, or contact Christina D. Cole at 773-702-1172, or ccole@uchicago.edu for more information.

Contributions to the SSA Fund are unrestricted gifts that allow benefactors to support the institution as a whole. The Fund is added to SSA's General Operating Fund, which is returned to our students in the form of financial aid and to our faculty in supporting their research. The SSA Fund enriches SSA’s curriculum and field placements, and subsidizes facilities, technology and career services.

The SSA Fund supports the School’s ability to be competitive and aggressive in recruiting and retaining top faculty and students, and the extra resources gifts provide make it possible for the School to do more. The following are ways you can make a difference:

Edith Abbott Fellow $5,000 or more
Charlotte Towle Society $2,000 to $4,999
Dean's Circle $1,000 to $1,999
Midway Club $500 to $999
SSA Advocate $250 to $499
SSA Sponsor $100 to $249
SSA Contributor $1 to $99
